Topics To Be Covered:

The total test time for the test is 2 hours 45 minutes.

The first three modules – Listening, Reading and Writing – is completed in one day.

The Speaking module may be taken, at the test centre’s discretion, in the period seven days before or after the other modules.

IELTS is divided into 2 modules: General Training (GT) and Academic. The GT is for those who want to immigrate and Academic for higher studies into the universities.

The Listening and Speaking tests are the same for both GT and Academic, while Reading and Writing have different sets of questions.

Listening – 40 questions over 4 parts total time 30 minutes with 10 mins to transfer answers on answer script

Speaking – 3 parts with total time between 11 to 14 minutes facing an examiner
